Anna Balchunas Luellen, Artistic Director

Anna holds a Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education from Shenandoah Conservatory and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Music Business from Berklee College of Music.

She spends her day as the Choral Director at Brentsville District High School in Prince William County Public Schools. She also plays an active role in the DMV music scene, serving as the Chorus President of The City Choir of Washington, Instrumental Director at Messiah United Methodist Church, and Choral Director of New Dominion Harmony. During the summer, she is the Summer Box Office Manager and Sing with Us! Manager of Wintergreen Music in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

A well traveled musician, Anna has performed internationally in Germany, Austria, Brazil, Greece, and France. She loves international programs and choral tours that allow her to continually practice and expand her craft.

Anna is a proud wife to her husband, Sean, and loves her little family with their son, Jonah, and labradoodle, Willow.

Amanda has been teaching music for 12 years, which means she has heard “Hot Cross Buns” approximately 4,000 times and still manages to smile about it. This year, she’s changing things up and trading her Orff instruments for a special education role, a plot twist she is genuinely excited about.

A proud Shenandoah University grad with a Bachelor’s in Music Education and a Master’s in Special Education from George Mason University, Amanda believes that anyone can sing and that no dog should go unpetted!

When she’s not trying to keep up with her daughters or snoozing in her favorite spot on the couch, she’s probably buried under a pile of books or obsessively researching her next Disney trip.
