Are you interested in auditioning to sing with The Serenity Chorus? We would love to hear you! Below you will find general information about our auditions and when our next round will be happening. Check back on this page regularly if you are looking to audition.

WHEN: We hold auditions ahead of each concert cycle. Typically this falls around January, June, and August.

WHO: We welcome any treble singers age 16+. If you are younger than 16, we will need a recommendation from a current chorus teacher and/or private voice teacher.

WHERE: All auditions are held at Messiah United Methodist Church (6215 Rolling Rd; Springfield, VA 22152)

WHAT TO EXPECT: Each audition is approximately 10 min. There is no preparation needed! You will meet with Artistic Director, Anna Balchunas, and will be asked to sing some vocal exercises, sightread (while Anna plays along with you on the piano), and spend a little time chatting about your prior music experience and goals for being in an ensemble.
